You may be asking yourself…
Everything you find in this blog was created with the purpose of helping you meet your macros and micros in a DELICIOUS way.
Holistic nutrition, particularly ancestral / primal nutrition has shown me that food can truly be "thy medicine".
And flexible dieting (IIFYM) has transformed my life, mainly because it helped repair my relationship with food and gave me control of my physique.
So I decided to blend the best of both to help you feel better, look better and eat happier :)
I made the personal choice of eliminating certain foods from my diet due to my personal digestive and health issues.
While I believe that everyone needs to find the foods that work best for their own body, I have seen some "patterns" of food-related issues that made me feel comfortable eliminating certain ingredients from my recipes.
You will not find :
any form of gluten
I am VERY diligent about this as I myself am very sensitive to gluten
I cook with butter and ghee sometimes
I have not found many people that have issues with a high quality butter or ghee
I very occasionally include some dairy in recipes but always with a dairy-free alternative
I will occasionally share a recipe with rice or quinoa
The name Prime All Instinct was born from my desire to become the best version of myself in a very intentional and methodical way.
I hope this blog inspires you to feel, eat and live more intentionally.
I get this question often enough to have to include it in this section.
Nothing has taught me more than life experience, I think that's where the real learning takes place.
However, I also believe there’s SO MUCH to learn from others and their experiences in life.
